Hughes of Beaconsfield donate a smart forfour to the Cure Parkinson’s Trust, helping raise over £15,000 for the charity

To celebrate 60 years of Hughes, we teamed up with the Cure Parkinson's Trust to launch a very special raffle in 2015.

Jalpa Dhokia was the lucky winner of the raffle which managed to raise a staggering £15,140 for the Cure Parkinson’s Trust. In January she visited Hughes of Beaconsfield on Station Road, Beaconsfield to collect her prize… a smart forfour Proxy Premium Plus! Her prize was handed over by Mrs Hughes, wife of the late Mr Hughes, who founded the company in 1955.

Money raised from the raffle will help fund innovative projects and inspirational scientists moving towards a cure for Parkinsons Disease, a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system.

Hughes and the Cure Parkinson’s Trust

The Cure Parkinson’s Trust is an extremely important charity to The Hughes Group and one which we are very passionate about. Michael Hughes, who founded The Hughes Group in 1955, was a Patron and former Trustee of the charity. Over the years The Hughes Group has been delighted to raise a substantial amount of money for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust through events and fundraising.

Local Cure Parkinson's upcoming events include The Bluebell Picnic on 1st May at Hedsor Park and Berkshire Golf Day on 30th May in Ascot.

Hughes will continue to support The Cure Parkinson’s Trust in the future and anyone looking to make a donation can do so by visiting;
