The aim of Euro 6 is to reduce levels of harmful car and van exhaust emissions, both in petrol and diesel cars; making them much kinder to our environment than ever before.
The Euro 6 standard was introduced in September 2015, and all mass-produced cars sold from this date comply with its standards; ultimately producing lower levels of nitrogen oxide (NOx) pollution than its predecessors.
Euro 6 particularly targets NOx emissions, but also reduces sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and CO2. Depending on fuel type, diesel being the top issue - the Euro 6 standard reduces NOx by more than 55 percent.
So you can rest assured, that all our new cars are kinder to our environment than older engines; making buying a New Car even better.
